KIRISHIMA SHUZO CO., LTD. will begin selling Spirits "KIRISHIMA MELT BARLEY 21 Years Old" and "KIRISHIMA MELT RICE 25 Years Old," which were previously only available at Kirishima Shuzo Online Shop and the Shochu no Sato Kirishima Factory Garden Shop, in the Okinawa area from Monday, February 16, 2026.

The Okinawa area is expected to see a record number of tourists in 2025 (*1), attracting many domestic and international tourists alike. Whiskey and barrel-aged long-term alcohol are also popular, and we have decided to begin selling them in the Okinawa area, hoping that they will not only be enjoyed at restaurants in the Okinawa area, but also be used as souvenirs and gifts.

"KIRISHIMA MELT BARLEY 21 years old" is Spirits made from Shochu shochu aged for 21 years, including storage in sherry and white oak barrels. The sherry casks give off a cassis-like aroma, while the barley has a deep caramel-like aroma. The rich, mellow sweetness lingers on the palate, with just the right amount of acidity.

[Recommended way to drink]
We recommend drinking it on the rocks or straight, allowing you to enjoy the original flavor of the undiluted sake.

[Recommended pairings]
It pairs exceptionally well with heavily seasoned dishes such as spare ribs, and savory and smoky foods such as smoked cheese.

"KIRISHIMA MELT RICE 25 years old" is Spirits made from Shochu shochu aged for 25 years, including storage in white oak barrels. The vanilla-like aroma from the white oak barrels is complemented by a lemongrass-like aroma. It has a creamy texture, yet a bright and clean finish, making it a perfect pairing with a wide range of foods.

[Recommended way to drink]
We recommend drinking it on the rocks or with soda to enjoy its refreshing and clean aftertaste.

It creates a deep harmony with seafood dishes that make the most of the mild flavor of the ingredients, such as steamed clams in sake, and fruity foods such as dried fruits.
